The Cabinet approved the official holidays agenda for the government and private sectors in the country during the year 2023, which included 12 days. It starts with the New Year’s holiday, on the first of January 2023 for a period of one day, followed by the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday for a period of 4 days, starting from the 29th of Ramadan to the 3rd of Shawwal 1444 AH.
The list of holidays included the day of the Arafah stand on the ninth of Dhu al-Hijjah, then the Eid al-Adha holiday on the days from 10 to 12 Dhu al-Hijjah 1444 AH, as well as the Hijri New Year, on July 21, 2023, then the Prophet’s birthday holiday on September 29, 2023.
The list also includes the celebrations of the 52nd National Day of the UAE on December 2 and 3, 2023.
